How Mage Gear started
It started the way a lot of things do — with a printer, a pile of filament, and a question: "What if we made something people actually loved?" Victor got his first 3D printer and couldn't stop. Jennifer got pulled in. Before long, the garage was full of printers and the dining table was covered in articulated axolotls.
We started selling at local craft fairs in the Phoenix area and discovered something we didn't expect: people don't just buy these things, they love them. Kids who can't put them down. Adults who buy them for their desks. Parents who come back every market to see what's new.
We built Mage Gear around a simple idea: license designs from independent artists we believe in, print them with care, and credit every designer by name. In a world where a lot of 3D printing sellers don't acknowledge the people who created the designs, we think that matters.
Inside the workshop
Six printers. Hundreds of spools of filament. One very patient dog. This is where the magic happens.
Print time
Most pieces take 4–12 hours to print. We run overnight jobs so your order is ready as fast as possible.
Inspection
Every piece is inspected before it ships. Anything that doesn't meet our standards becomes a clearly-labeled "seconds" item at a discount.
Production time
We aim to ship within 1 week of your order. During busy seasons (holidays, after events) it may be a little longer — we'll always communicate.
What we stand for
Made by hand, one at a time
Every order is printed by us in our Queen Creek workshop. Not a warehouse. Not a fulfillment center. Two people who care about what they make.
We credit our designers
Every design in our catalog is licensed from an independent artist we believe in. We credit them by name on every product, because they deserve to be known.
Quality over quantity
We inspect every piece before it ships. If it doesn't meet our standards, it goes in the seconds bin — clearly labeled, honestly priced.
Rooted in Arizona
We live and work in Queen Creek, AZ. We sell at local craft fairs and markets because we love meeting the people who bring our pieces home.
Come say hi in person
We do craft fairs and markets across the Phoenix metro area. It's our favorite part of this whole thing — meeting the people who bring our pieces home.
